It's a fact.  Being a parent is hard work.  And parenting a child with a disability presents different challenges than parenting children with ordinary needs.  Familes can easily become isolated and overwhelmed.  It's important to know that you aren't alone and that there are resources that can help with some of these challenges.  Informed parents make better advocates for their children.
